• So what would happen if your computer was lost, stolen or damaged.
  • Imagine a break in at the office and your PC equipment vandalised
  • A disgruntled employee deletes important files.

Whatever the cause, being without your computer be it personal or business will cause you a lot of inconvenience.Acronis Gold Partner

We have a disaster recovery plan to suit every need from a small one man business to companies with hundreds of users. Even a solution for family and home users.

Recover your PC with a touch of a button, restore missing files or even rebuild your computer from scratch very, very quickly.

A Disaster recovery plan using Acronis backup software gives you the ability to restore a complete computer to a previous state even if that computer is lost or stolen! It can do this by using the bare metal restore option.

We can design and implement a disaster recovery solution for you that includes local backups, backups to a centralised storage location and cloud backups. Giving you the peace of mind that if you lose one file or a department full of workstations, you can be back up and running in hours rather than days or weeks.

Disaster Recovery for your business need not be expensive. But if you don't have a Disaster Recovery plan in place then it could be more expensive than you imagined.

Acronis P2V

Another amazing feature is the Acronis P2V or Physical to Virtual. If a computer or server has failed or is looking unstable, using Acronis Backup & Recovery, we can convert a physical machine into a virtual one, this is referred to as Acronis P2V.

A recovery disk can be used to boot up a dead or failing machine and from this Acronis P2V process then creates a virtual machine. Once this has completed, the VM (Virtual Machine) can be transferred to another computer and run using virtualisation software such as VmWare.

This may be a last resort process for a failed server or computer.

When you have the Virtual Machine running, it can then be used as normal and data migrated onto a new machine at your leisure.

Alternatively many companies are now using virtualisation to reduce overall costs and taking 3 or 4 physical machines and running them all as virtual machines on one computer can save thousands each year.

If you run a business and workers connect to a virtual server, they will notice no difference in the performance compared to a physical machine.
