Requirements Pen-Avia's main server had become unreliable due to power problems. It had not been maintained well and was using an out of date operating system that was insufficient for their business needs. We shipped the server back to the manufacturer for repair, but it was not returned in a satisfactory condition. We ordered a new server with back-up facility and an Uninterrupted Power Supply and configured the machine. All data was recovered from the old machine and users were set up to seamlessly work with the new server.

Conclusion Once the problem was identified we acted quickly and efficiently. This allowed Pen-Avia to continue working with very little downtime and are now enjoying a stable platform. The new server was more effective for Pen-Avia staff and helped increase their productivity. Back-ups are in place and with our continuous monitoring, reliability is assured.
