Jobmate is a leading provider of job posting and job distribution services in the UK - delivering on average over 2 Million transactions each month - for many of the largest recruiting agencies and companies in the UK.

Requirements: Jobmate has 2600 users registered to post jobs to over 500 different job boards. Users post an average monthly total of 10,000, sending 200,000 adverts. This process is vital to the recruitment industry and is an effective tool.
With little notice, Jobmate were informed that their data centre was due to close within 7 days. This meant they needed to relocate quickly to a stable area with scalable bandwidth.
The servers were halted, disconnected and removed from the original site, transported to the new location, setup, reconfigured (including IP specific work) and returned to full working order.
The IT Support Department provided all the necessary resources and expertise to do this and was able to ensure that server downtime was minimal.
Conclusion The server relocation was completed within the timescale by working outside normal working hours thus causing minimal disruption not only to Jobmate but also their clients.
